January 21 A Good DayWe started a new weight-loss program at work and we have to weigh-in every Monday. So, I weighed in today and I lost 2 lbs. : )
I'm hoping to lose that or more this week. I'm going to try to work out 5-6 days this week.
Tonight is my cardio night so I'm gonna pop a movie in and try to go on the treadmill for an hour and a half.
Lins January 16 Making myselfYESTERDAY: I had no desire what-so-ever to do anything. Working out was even harder to think about doing. But around 10pm I told myself this is how I got where I am today. By not doing anything. So I made myself pull out my Balance ball and dvd it came with. Spent 30 minutes with that. I felt so much better for pushing myself. The excerises are getting easier each time. Totally excited about that. I really do love that I am now needing to push myself harder because things are easier. Before I had to make myself just finish.
TODAY: I saw a picture of a really good friend of mine who has been part of my support group and I of hers. She looks so awesome. I wish we lived about 3 states closer so we could do more than just talk to help each other out. But I guess I can't have it all now can I?
Seeing Melanie progress made me get up and workout again today. My knee is getting stronger all the time now. I noticed that I could do moves I couldn't a month ago. My doctors are going to be so happy about this!!
TOMORROW: Bonnie comes over to workout with me. Hopefully she will anyway. All her friends and I are still trying to get her to believe in herself. That she can lose weight. It's just one step at a time. She wants to. That's good. She walked with Lins and Nikki and Myself Sunday.
I guess that's my update for now. I need to get some sleep. Amber January 14 Still figuring this thing out...Hello to all!! Glad to see other people can find us. I can't find myself on here. We have never done this SPACE thing before. So today was cardio day. The Biggest Loser Cardio Max. Levels One and Two completed. I feel great! I even used weights this time. Not my favorite thing but I'm getting used to them. Last night some of us got together to help out a good friend. She needs all the support we can give her. She's scared. But we are here for her. Just like we have been here for each other. I missed my weigh-in day this week. My kids were sick and didn't even think about it. Maybe the numbers will like me this week because of it.
